Before we dive in, as a relatively new parent, especially the parent of a girl, one of my children

is a girl, I find myself thinking about social media a lot these days and I know sometimes parents are on the fence about whether to let their teenage or adolescent

daughters use social media. They know that there are drawbacks, but I don't

think they fully realize what they're getting into some of the time because they're

decent people they're not exposed to the horrors of the internet for better or for
