Hope you're having a fantastic day and a beautiful, beautiful

week and moment and second and right now and all of that good type of thing. Man, today I have a wonderful, wonderful brain stretching podcast for you. I'm joined by

Talley Schirt. She is a neuroscientist and a brilliant woman. She's an author, she's written a book called The Optimism

Bias and her new book called The Influential Mind is coming out just in the next couple of days.

It goes into a lot of just generally there's a lot of how the brain works

which is very fascinating but also talks about how we influence each other, how

we are influenced, how as a group we think in certain ways because we're in a group, how data changes

the way we think about things, and just the way that we move towards positive thoughts,

move away from what would proceed to be negative thoughts,

really fascinating.

You know, I read a lot of books and genuinely, this has been one of my favorite books.

I don't know if it just happened to influence me just right, but it's been one of my favorite

books I've read in quite some time. It's beautifully written, very succinct, it's entertaining

as a lot of great, you know, fun diagrams and examples and, and, you know, there's a great sense of

few more in there.

So I highly recommend you go and check out the influence of mind.
