Hey everybody, a fun one today, you know, for a change.

Jeremy was one of the authors of an article this past week on the Dominion v. Fox lawsuit,

which included a lot of revelations about the Fox News Channel that confirmed,

well, everything we already knew, which is that they are lying liars, but more than that,

they are cynical, shameless, greedy, power-hungry low-lifes.

A little background, there was a presidential election way

back in 2020, which Joe Biden won, which is why he's the president. Donald Trump and a lot of

people who work for Trump, like Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell, claimed that the election had been stolen from Trump

through a number of schemes. Chief among them, a voting machine scam where these Dominion

voting machines switched hundreds of thousands, if not millions of Trump votes to Biden votes.

Turned out that wasn't true.

That didn't happen.

Nevertheless, Fox News kept reporting that that had actually been the case, even well after Fox

knew that it wasn't.

Hence, the defamation lawsuit for $1.6 billion, which looks pretty nailed down, if you ask me,

and a lot of lawyers, including lawyers, who usually defend media organizations on the

principle that we need news organizations to be willing to report on

malfeasance and corruption, even if they make a mistake or two or three every once in a while,

as long as the mistake was not made maliciously or with total disregard for the truth.

See, for someone to successfully sue a news organization for defamation,

they have to prove that it was done with either malicious intent
