I'm Chelsea and we're engaged. We like to get scared together. I was wavering on whether or not I wanted to just do the intro.

I was John Boy, I chickened out. Okay, so last week we did Anaconda. Great time.

Loved it. We had a good old time and Lake Placid came up during that episode because of course,

Lake 90's creature feature. And everyone's said, oh, do Lake Placid. It'll be fun.

It's a dumb movie. You like Anaconda. You'll love Lake Placid.

I did not love Lake Placid.

I did not love this.

It is amazing how these two movies are such a good demonstration of what does work for me as a goofy bad movie and what totally doesn't.

And this movie is doing all the things I don't like.

In like a purposely cheesy B movie.

Yeah, it's mostly the dialogue. The dialogue is not good.

Because I will say the second half of the movie, when it's just the plot and the big crock, like that's more fun.

The first half of this movie is just, oh man, it's like a first draft film student script. It's so bad.

Just filled with cliches and just awful writing.

It's awful, awful, awful.

It's just like the first half where we have to spend time with these horrible people who are all unlikable. It's rough.

It's just so cliché. Every line that these characters say is either men versus women or city versus rural.
