And what people don't understand is that the policeman on the street also has to go to court. He has to give evidence. He has to file an incredible amount of paperwork. And he gets the brunt of it. I'm always defending him to residents. They're like, oh, you know, he doesn't do anything. I report police. It's not fair on him because he's working so hard with such little appreciation because he doesn't have the support he needs.

And that's a mayor that doesn't prioritise policing.

He doesn't prioritize safety.
