Because everything that goes on on a football field, everything that goes on on a basketball court would be illegal if it happened anywhere else.

So you can't hit someone.

You can't box somebody out in a grocery store.

You can't steal the ball.

Yeah.

All of this is illegal.

But we have this controlled environment where they have to man up.

These boys have to man up and it's it's really fantastic.

I think it's important and it's because in that controlled environment, all these stories play out.

Every game, all these narratives and all these micro-narratives play out.

And they have to incorporate all the lessons they've learned.

And when I'm in a locker room, I'm referencing stories.

I'm telling them stories.

I'm telling them stories from scripture.

I'm telling them stories from other athletes.

I'm telling them stories from history.

Yeah.

Stories.

The way you teach these guys how to comport themselves under stress and in hardship and

when facing opposition is entirely narrative.

And, you know, it's like I give that to them and then tell them who to be, what

characters were going to be.
