one where we reflect on the year that's just passed and give you some cheer and best wishes for the future.

It truly does sound magical, doesn't it?

Of course, Christmas looks a little different to those past in Italy again this year, but it's a big improvement on 2020 when most

of the country was in a very hard lockdown. This year, the light installations are gorgeous,

and I definitely think they rival anything you will see anywhere else in Europe.

Think rows and rows of sparkling lights and huge Christmas trees decked out beautifully.

We've seen so many beautiful photos in our Italy travel planning group and it just makes me want to have an Italian Christmas one day.

But that's for another year.

We're going to be taking a short break next week to spend some time

with family and friends over the next couple of weeks and there will of course be some

Italian-style feasting. So I thought I'd ask some of our podcast guests and friends in Italy
