| 0:17.0 | Hey everybody, welcome to another episode of nostalgia and now with Laguna Biocch. Thank you so much for tuning in. Can you believe that it is already June? I did not realize that last week when I put out the podcast because I was like, oh, like, I can't wait for it to be June, |
| 0:38.8 | which is a lie. I hate summer. I don't know if anybody else feels that way, but when it comes to |
| 0:44.2 | summer, I absolutely despise it. And it's funny. I actually talked to my therapist about it. |
| 0:50.4 | And she was like, well, why don't you like this season? Because I always felt like I had opposite |
| 0:54.0 | seasonal depression. I kind of thrive in the winter and the colder months along with like fall and spring. But when it comes to summer, I hate it. So her and I were going back and forth, and she was like, well, you know, that's when you would have a lot more freedom. And then the freedom would end because you had to go back to school at the end of summer. But you've also told me that you're uncomfortable with the way your body looks. And in the summer, you show off your body a lot more than you do in the cooler months. And I was kind of like, damn, did you really have to read me like that? But I definitely think that has something to do with it. this summer I'm really trying to just embrace myself, embrace who I am as a person. |
| 1:30.4 | I don't know if you guys saw on Instagram. I did come out officially as bisexual, and I've never |
| 1:34.9 | really, I guess I did it on the podcast before, but I've never, like, came out. I never told my |
| 1:40.2 | family, really. And now they know, I still have yet to tell my mom. And that is just a personal |
| 1:46.4 | choice because I know it will not go well. And I'm kind of like protecting myself a little bit. |
| 1:52.4 | But my dad, stepmom, brother, all of them have been so supportive. And you guys sent me so many |
| 1:57.7 | nice messages. So thank you so much. And again, I realize, the reason I did that is because I kind of realized it was a privilege that I didn't feel the need to, I guess, kind of come out and talk about it. But now it's out there. It's in the open. And yeah, I'm just, I'm hoping to have a really good summer and really lean into who I am as a person. I do think I'm authentically myself for the most part, |
| 2:18.6 | but there have been moments where, you know, I've tried to fit in with people where I didn't really need to fit in with them. Do you know what I mean? So I'm just, I'm leaning into it. And yeah, I think it's going to be, it's going to be a fun, I'm hoping a fun summer. Things are starting to open back up again, which is nice. |
| 2:35.3 | I know if you are in Canada, I believe you just got summer. Things are starting to open back up again, which is nice. I know |
| 2:35.8 | if you are in Canada, I believe you just got put on a third lockdown, and I am so sorry for that. |
| 2:41.6 | Like, I don't know how you can do that. And I really hope that soon things start opening up |
| 2:48.6 | around the whole world rather than just in a few countries. |
| 2:52.3 | And you know what? I was out over the weekend and I was on Broadway. I never go to Broadway. |
