All right guys this is going to be a first on this podcast. This is a first time ever that I have reviewed an album that is a music album and surprisingly enough it is the newest album from

Kanye West called Jesus King. Now I know some of you guys some of you guys already

you're like I don't want to listen to this he's going to do a review

in a lot of ways this isn't just an album right this isn't just you know what it's

categorized as a gospel album this isn't whether you consider it a hip-hop album it's not just

that it's something bigger than that it's it's become a little bit of a cultural phenomenon and I'm recording this

just a few days after its release and it has just been everywhere and everyone's

been talking about it so for those of you who don't know Kanye West, yes, he is an incredibly

influential artist.

He's probably one of the most influential pop and hip-hop artists

in the last 20 years.

I would probably say that.

That's probably fair.

This is his ninth studio album. It's only 27 minutes long, so it's a brief album.
