So in the month of August I spent a weekend at the Ghost Scout Training

Camp. This is run by Dan Bandit and that's who the interview is with

He is the original background designer for Adventure Time.

He created the universe, you know, the tree house, the whole world of those first two seasons, these iconic,

this iconic universe of Adventure Time.

This is the guy who created the universe. This guy is

phenomenal, extremely inspiring and he puts on this ghost scout training camp all of the month of August

where he brings out the cadets around nine folks I think to come out and build forts and exercise and hike and

draw and draw and draw and spend time with the guests so he had me out this year. He also had Kent Osborne, who's the head writer of

Adventure Time. Kent's brother, Mark Osborne, who was the director of Kung Fu Panda and the little prince and all kinds of other things.

And yeah, so I got to meet Kent. I wasn't there for Mark being around, but got to meet Ken and spend some time with him

he was hilarious and inspiring and I got to have this long conversation with Dan on

the last day before I left and it was just full of creative genius.

He's got such a good heart for creative people and I was just really, really inspired by this guy's ability to create not just the universe of adventure time, but his own universe that plays by his own rules.
