Did the Blessed Virgin Mary die?

How is that even possible in Catholic theology if the Blessed Virgin Mary was conceived immaculately?

She was conceived without original sin.

She never had original sin, venial sin, mortal sin, and yet Scripture says the wages of

sin is death.

How could one with no sin the Virgin Mary die?

And yet in the Eastern tradition and in the Western tradition, with the doctors of the church

and with the sacred arts and the iconography depicts what's called the door mission.

And here you can see on the screen our Lord Jesus Christ, and he's standing at what

appears to be the Blessed Virgin Mary, dead, sleeping, and he's holding her soul which

is white.

There's a separation of her soul and her body, and this is the big controversy.

We believe that a Mary was assumed into heaven.

This was dogmatized by Pope Pius XII, we're going to get into that in 1950.

But how could it be that the Blessed Virgin Mary died?

Before I jump into that, I want to discuss Catholic Maryology.

There's a lot of non-Catholic, there's a lot of Protestants, Evangelicals, Charismatics

that watch this channel, and they might be perplexed and say, how do you Catholics get

so into the Blessed Virgin Mary?
