So let's begin with a vote from Travis in Colorado. And I'm actually going to have to read a few

of the votes for this particular hymn because there were so many good comments, but Travis writes

regarding awake my heart with gladness. This hymn is so beautiful and meaningful,

but made so much more so when you know the hymn writer's story of personal tragedy and grief.

What a wonderful treasure the church has in this hymn.

Jeremiah in Cheyenne, Wyoming goes the same route and says it's got everything you could possibly

want. A move from the despair of good Friday to the joy of Easter, the defeat of Satan,

our challenge is still here in this life. The victory is one for us, but we don't taste it

completely yet. And our unshakable hope that we too share in this victory solely for Jesus' work.
