All right, so this time, Cody, i can start with um because i know we always are sad to stop talking

about our lives yeah um but i can both talk about my life a bit but get us into topic in a way

that will also do honor to your show that you love i'm so excited excited. Battlestar Galactica is what I mean. I love that show. And that is that things have been really green and dark in our house. But you know, when things are dark, they're also light. Or like, it depends on your state of mind. Totally. We're having dark times, but that, but also help pours out of the woodwork, and that shows you that you're loved by whatever, whoever the fudge will get up in the middle of the night to help you, and that's nice, but the bad thing is still happening. Yeah. So long story short, our baby for the first time had a fever so high that we had to rush him to the ER and he's inconsolably crying and it's so stressful in a way that if you haven't had kids, you can't, you can imagine.

But yeah, there is a heightened viscerality.

When I heard a baby cry before, I'm like, ah, sign of distress.

That's pretty grating.

Now when I hear my baby cry, it kicks in an urgent adrenaline rush telling my body that it's my job. Right, right, right. This one's yours, actually. Yeah. And when they have a fever of 105, there's nothing you can do to fix it except give them meds and they hate the meds too so they're pretty much constantly screaming at

you like you're doing a bad job you're scared what's going on why does it hurt i'm hot daddy

and um at the same time my back is out like fully thrown out fully unrelated total coincidence just a god hates us thing that my back

went out and i'm like oh boy it's all on you wife for the next few days that night our baby wakes

up screaming with a 104 fever so because of that we broke our no screens rule for the first time ever and the first time my child

has ever laid eyes on a screen playing something and sat there and been allowed to like like yes

in the wild right he's seen a tv at a grocery store whatever But he watched Hand of God with me.

And Cody, it's the only thing that shut him up for days.

I think any TV show would have done because it's such a powerful.

Nah, just as one.

You're a kid.

But we were trying to get to no screens till age two.

Sure.

We broke it because things are so stressful.

Yeah.

And I got to say, baby Sonny really enjoyed Battlestar.
