And welcome to scary stories from Camp Roanoke. This is your

audiovisual, immersive experience of fall coziness and camaraderie. And here to be your tour

guides of joy is me, Katie Wiggins, and me, Morgan Driscoe.

There it is.

Allow me to set the scene because this is actually, for the first time in months, pleasant.

It is lightly raining.

It's about 75 degrees.

You've got a punking.

Don't even tell anyone about what your situation is right now because they don't want to hear it. I don't want to hear it either, so it's fine. I'm going to live through you.

If people don't know that we're in separate states, this is probably a very confusing interaction.

Yeah. Morgan's in Texas, if you didn't know.

Anyway, this is a podcast where we tell each other true, scary stories, and today is no different.

But we do have a little bit of order of business since we have a new patron.

So I'm going to do her little shout out of her little story of how she came to camp.

So we have a renowned pottery class here at camp and we love to encourage our counselors to express

themselves via clay and wheel.

And one of our students was especially gifted and decided to make a full-sized clay statue of another

camper, just like creating another camper. So the creator worked for weeks to perfect each part of

the statue's body, making its proportions perfect until it was ready, fired, and glazed. And it

looked like a perfect little camper when it was done, and its creator named it Brittany.

The potter who sculpted her was extremely proud, and everything was well and good until he noticed
