Hey James, we discussed the Afghan tragedy last week but there is so much there, there's

so much that we might have done, should have done, could have done, didn't do.

There's so much blame to go around, some of the hypocrites, Republicans, the generals,

Donald Trump, just you know, it's outrageous.

But we have two people who really understand this as well as anyone on the planet.

I think Valley Nasser is a professor at the Johns Hopkins School of International Relations,

the former dean and he was Richard Hohlbrook's top aide in 2009 and 2010 and the Afghan

Pakistan Task Force.

And Ed Luce is the chief Washington correspondent, commentator and columnist for the Financial

Times and he was the South Asia bureau chief for the F.T. over there so he really knows
