Centennial series, 100 years of 100 things. It's thing number 89, 100 years of women in the

military, including your oral histories, stories of women in your family who served anytime from

World War I, let's say, until now. Who wants to tell any story of a woman in your family who

served in any branch of the military as far back as you

want to go, even before World War I, if there were any, let's try for some generations ago stories

first. Let's say World War I through Vietnam, the first 50 years of the 100, and we'll open it up for

Of course, we're doing this as we have a new defense secretary who famously said,

we need moms, just not in the military.

And we're doing this today on the actual 50th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War.

That was April 30th, 1975.

So your women in the Vietnam era military story is very much invited.

or that of anyone you know or knew about what you did

or what they did, about barriers or opportunities or sexual harassment or anything else in your
