I'm Devin Carroll and joined today by John Ross. Hey John. Howdy? So John, you were telling me before we started recording. So we

0:31.5

were sitting here. We had another couple of topics that we were about to talk about. And then you

0:35.8

started telling me about this Supreme Court case. And I said, no, let's record that. Let's get this down in an episode. I want to

0:41.9

hear more about this. Take it from the top. Okay, so one question I get, I deal with a lot of people

1:46.5

Well, now she has no one to check her up. Right. And she hasn't let grandparents see that kid

1:52.7

since he died. Yeah. And, you know, when I went to law school, I had to take a family law class,

1:57.9

and there was a whole section in there about grandparent rights

2:01.0

and what rights they had and what they didn't and how to petition the court for grandparent

2:05.9

rights. By the time I finished law school, you could take that entire section that we studied

2:12.1

and tear it out of the books and burn it. Wow. All of which, because of a Supreme Court case, commonly just
