Summary
About 5 years ago I moved into my neighborhood. We liked that the house was near family and that it had a courtyard. What we did NOT know was that I was about to meet some of my closest friends- my new neighbors! Throughout the years we have had countless events ranging from very meaningful to remarkably silly;we have laughed, cried and everything in between. Whenever I share about them I get so many questions from you. How did we meet? How do we plan all the parties? What makes our friendships work? There's clearly some interest around how 5 random ladies became such good friends so I wanted to bring them on and answer all your questions. We put our hearts into this and we hope it helps you build your own neighborhood friendships! What we chat about: How first impressions aren't always accurate; sometimes it's worth taking a risk to get to know someone Embracing the beauty in our differences and seeking out people who are different than you Being the one to initiate communication with a potential group or supportive community Tips on how to build drama-free relationships Saying yes to creative get togethers, like a crepes and Zumba party. Why not? How to be a blessing to your friends while still maintaining loose expectations Links mentioned: Episode #93: Hospitality Made Ridiculously Simple with Kristin Schell The Turquoise Table: Finding Community and Connection in Your Own Front Yard Episode Sponsor: Rebecca Renfrow Do you feel overwhelmed with trying to "do it all" in your business while striving to be the best mom you can be?
