Thank you. 2, Electric Bougaloo. Well, here we are.

100 episodes since we first started in late April of 2018.

Though that's just a formality.

I mean, I think there are 131, 130 shows if we include interviews and some bonus episodes,

but nevertheless, I consider it an achievement that we've gotten this far.

Since releasing episode 50 in August 2020, I've had a couple of milestones with the show.

The podcast has been downloaded over 3 million times as of this September.

I've had the privilege to travel out of the country for some in-person research in Italy,

Greece, and Turkey. I was kindly invited as a guest to other podcasts and channels,

contributed a couple of articles about the Hellenistic period, presented at virtual conferences,

and even got an interview with

the Greek reporter about my work. Of course, none of this would have been possible without your

support these last number of years, so thank you all so much for your time, dedication, and

effort in helping me with my show. The last 50 episodes have also seen a diverse range of topics. Timeline-wise,

we went from roughly 245 BC down to 180 BC. On paper, this doesn't seem terribly long. But this

includes such intense events like the Fourth Syrian War, the Social War, the Second Punic War, the Great Revoltaic

of Egypt, the Annavusis of Antiochus III, the First and Second Macedonian Wars, the Fifth

Syrian War, and the Romano-Silucid War. I don't know if you could tell that there was a

running theme going on, but we did talk about other special topics, deep dives into the Seleucid and Ptolemaic

kingdoms, Hellenistic literature, science and technology, and a very lengthy digression on the
