On the afternoon of January 13, 1996,

9-year-old Amber Hagerman was riding her bike in a parking lot of an abandoned grocery store in Arlington, Texas,

when a man in a black pickup truck pulled up beside her, grabbed her off

her bike, and drove away. Four days later, Amber's body was found in a creek just a few miles away.

29 years have passed and Amber's case remains unsolved, but her name has never faded and her legacy

continues to save lives.
