I've been asked to talk this evening about this whole theme which in my book is called The

Day the Revolution began. You may not have realized if you only saw the title of that book and not

the whole front cover that it is about the meaning of Jesus' death, the meaning of Jesus' crucifixion

which is one of the great and yet difficult themes throughout Christian theology, Christian

worship, Christian liturgy, the closer we get to the cross the more we are aware both that we are

close to the very heart of God and that we are witnessing the place where evil did its worst.
