Today, Friday the 3rd of June marks 100 days since the start of the war in Ukraine.

To mark this moment, I spoke to Roland Dolophant, a senior foreign correspondent,

and Natalia Vasilyevna, the telegraphs Moscow correspondent.

To get a sense of their understanding of the war, its origins, their reporting on it,

and how it might end. Here's our conversation.

We're 100 days into this conflict. Roland and Natalia, how do we get to this?

Well, if I may, we started with a massive military buildup in November. And for many months,

we saw in real-time Russian troops, Russian weaponry being pulled to the border with Ukraine,

in numbers that had let all military analysts to believe that there will be a full

of low-envasion, with something that's re-corespondensed working in Russia never expected.

Because this is something that we thought was never in Vladimir Putin's interest.
