It is the Anfield Rap. I am Neil Atkinson and across the course of the last couple of weeks on the Anfield

rap we have been looking at different aspects of the football club both now

and also looking ahead. We've done some of this behind the paywall, we've done some of this on

free shows like the Amfield rap, so we've been having a little look at what Liverpool's rivals have been up to. the we've been discussing what business Liverpool may or may not need to do.

We've had a chat about the women's team.

If you name it, we've looked at it apart from one thing, which we were always building up to

for this edition of the Anfieldfield rap and that is to have a conversation about Liverpool's ownership, what it's done to date and what is to come next.

And to do that with me, I have got Rob Gutman, Andy Heaton, John Gibbons, Jay McKenna and Gareth Roberts in order to have a chat about Family Sports Group and in general the way in which it's going now there's rumors

very very sort of well clarified rumors that it looks as though a group called Redbird may well be

acquired in 10% of Fenway Sports Group. We'll be talking about that. Within that

as well there's rumors of other sports teams and enterprises that Fenway Sports Group

might go for that may well come up throughout all of this.

But I'll start off with John Gibbons and say that it is now 10 years, 10 and a half years,

since Fenway acquired Liverpool. It's been quite the journey for everyone.

In almost every facet of the pitch there's been steps forwards,

there's been steps back,

there's been you turns, there's been success,

you know, there's been a European Cup and a

Premier League title along the way it is what I would say is John they've managed to be

busy. Yeah it is funny though, is it?
