Drew McIntyre WWE From 2009 to 2014 Now obviously, Drew McIntyre

hasn't failed at all during this, his second run.

With WWE considering he's now one of the most important guys in the entire company, but

his first go around was pretty much a bust when you consider, you know, the whole chosen

one gimmick.

Vince McMahon handpicked Drew as a future world champion in September 2009.

Now, he was technically correct, he eventually won the WWE Championship, but it took a good

decade or so longer than the boss would have hoped for, with Drew fading so badly during

his original run that he was released in 2014.

In interviews, McIntyre has held his hands up to that he has taken full responsibility

of the situation, and eventually came back to WWE twice the wrestler he was before.

If he hadn't done that, he'd have gone down as an all-time disappointment.

Mike Awesome in WCW and WWE from 2000 to 2002 It doesn't sound as impressive in 2021
