1:10.0	Welcome to the Simply Charlotte Mason podcast. I'm Sonia Schaefer. Here are 10 activities that you can do in your home school that will help you break free of the doldrums. They're anywhere from five minutes to 20 minutes
1:13.6	long and simple to do. So let's jump in. Number one, a family read aloud. There's nothing
1:22.1	like a continuing drama to give you a sense of eager expectation. You want to find out what happens next. That's what
1:30.3	a great read-a-loud story can do. Just gather everybody together and read for 15 or 20 minutes a day.
1:38.2	Depending on the book, you might get through part of a chapter or even a whole chapter or two.
1:45.5	Then set the book aside no matter how much you or your kids want to keep reading.
1:52.9	That next reading is something to look forward to.
1:57.3	Why would you rob your children of that delicious sense of expectation?
