I'm excited to do with another one here to close out the season.

Let's share some second half stats for you to kind of get you ready. Well, of course, talk to playoff races here. We're brought to you by Chalkport, Fred. Happy baseball Tuesday. Going to be a fun day today. A fun week of baseball. We both have irons in the fire still. It's amazing. And I'm going to start off by I say, you were right, that the Reds were not

done. And I was way too premature to wear, uh, I am, and wave them away and, you know,

talking about that terrible trip to the desert or their terrible West Coast trips.

Hey, they're probably still alive and it's a blast having meaningful September baseball.

I told you all along, you're chasing the Mets.

Like the Mets have been blowing things.

You know, they've been blowing leads, seasons, whatever, forever.

Apologies for Mets fans, although they know it.

They've lived with it, right?

As much is more than you and I have.

So, I mean, yeah, and it's not like the, it's not like the, it's not like the Reds arrived here by playing, you know, outstanding second half baseball.

They're 30 and 20, 30 and 29 in the second half, which is better than the Mets, 25 and 34. And then there's the Diamondbacks, even though they try, the Diamondbacks were like, hey, we're going to drop out of the race. Yep. We're trading away all our players. We're dropping out of the race. Yeah. And then they were barely better than respectable 30 and 27.

So better than the Reds and better than the Mets and a little better than 500.

And the 32 and 37, sorry, 32 and 27, the 32 and 27 was plenty good enough to get them back in the race too.

So maybe I shouldn't give them such a hard time.

They have the ninth best record in baseball since the All-Star break.

So that's not bad.

Anyways, yeah, so these teams are the definition of plotting their way along until one of them just goes ass backwards into the playoffs.
