And this week and next week, I'm going to count down the 10 top secrets that

plastic surgeons don't want you to know. Yes, there are a lot of things that we as plastic surgeons know about that you should know too,

but we may not necessarily be as open as we ideally should be.

So this week and next week, I'm going to count down my top 10 list.

Some of these are definitely going to be surprising. You might know one or two of them,

but I think you're going to find that some of these are really going to rock your world.

So let's start with number 10. Number 10 is permanent

fillers equals permanent problems. Okay, so permanent fillers equal permanent problems.

What I mean by this is that there are lots of different injectable fillers being used out

there.

The most popular ones are called the highly ironic acid fillers. And these

fillers are fillers that are made of a naturally occurring substance in our

skin that we inject. They're called Juvoderm and Restiline and Purlane and Valuma.

And they've got a lot of these different names and they really work well and the best thing

about a hylionic acid filler is that they are completely reversible.
