0:00.0 | So one of the best worst things about pro wrestling is how much it can fluctuate, and the bad side is when it comes to wrestler participation, because one day they're in a match, and the next day they're not. It all comes down to that terrible catchphrase, plans change, pal. Listen, I do independent wrestling and I can tell you, when you are all jazzed up for a match, then somebody walks in and says, ha ha, you don't get to do it, you can't help it, man. Makes you feel sad in your tutsy toes. So it does mean who should we send some love out today? And my name is Simon Miller. And even though they probably don't want me to do this, I'm going to do it anyway. It's 10 times wrestlers got murked. Number 10 Bailey at WrestleMania 41. So of course this one does feel like it's all a storyline and maybe it was at work. But during the week of WrestleMania 41, Bailey went on Chris Van Vleech show and even said, some news is about to come out, and I don't think that people are going to like it. And yes, she was referring to the fact it was meant to be her in Lariari Valkyria in a women's tag team title match when somebody beat her up backstage and she missed the event entirely. Now look, this did turn out to be Becky Lynch and then also screwed over Lyra Valkyria, and when Bales returned on Raw months afterwards to whoop Becky's ass, I think we all went, well, I'll take that fueled. It could be one we talk about for a while, because Becky Lynch and Bailey, well, without them, the face of women's wrestling in WWE is vastly different. I'm sure Bailey totally understood this as well and was stirring the pot a little bit when she did do that interview, but she's still a human being. And at one point, she was still told you're going to be on WrestleMania and then she was taken off it. Like, let's go back to January 2025. |
1:31.9 | No wrestler would have been stood there. Oh man. I really hope I pretend to get |
1:35.8 | booked in a match on the grandest stage of them all and then it gets taken away. |
1:40.0 | Like how many times have we heard this? Some wrestlers wait all year for that moment. |
1:44.9 | It's just a bit upsetting. |
1:45.9 | As we are here as well, let's make sure we do sing Bailey's praises |
1:48.9 | because she is crazy underrated. |
1:51.6 | Don't forget what she has done or what she can do. |
1:55.1 | Bailey is great. |
1:55.9 | Number nine, Kevin Nash at Night of Champions 2011. |
1:58.8 | So after appearing to align himself with Triple H, Kevin Nash got into a program with CM Punk. |
2:04.6 | Now listen, if you were working back in 2011, you know that all of this was really weird, and you often woke up and checked yourself to ensure that you hadn't accidentally digested some drugs. |
2:14.6 | As we were building to the big event though, when yes, this match had been advertised, it turned out that Nash wasn't actually medically cleared because he had some sort of |
2:22.2 | a heart issue and he was on some sort of medication or needed medication. So the WW medical team had said, |
2:28.3 | yeah, you're not going to be allowed to participate into this match. Now listen, there's nothing |
2:32.7 | more important than your health and happiness. |
2:34.6 | Wrestling is the most important of the least important things, but it did make us go, |
2:38.7 | well, surely they knew that beforehand. This didn't come on yesterday. So what the flub are we doing? |
2:44.2 | There's also a massive shame because, of course, Kevin was headed towards the end of his career. |
2:47.5 | And no matter what you think about him, he was a legend, which is when |
2:51.4 | Triple H tagged in, he put his C-O-O-A ship, whatever you want to call it, up for grabs, which meant |
2:58.3 | he was always going to win. And he beat C.M. Punk soon after the summer of punk in 2011. |
