Let me ask you this, fellas. When is the last time that you guys went through your closets?

As far as you see when I have in there. I went through Ted's last night. Miles is last week. And then, uh, uh, well, you know, it's spring cleaning. There's stuff in there that shouldn't be. Yeah. I kind of dug through, uh, at the behest of my wife, uh, went through a couple of weeks ago. You need to get ready.

It's not for giving it to goodwill.

Bye, blah, blah.

Which is fine, and I did.

She does not and I did.

She does not believe I did a thorough enough job, so I'm sure I'll be revisiting that.

Well, let's revisit it now.

So this comes to us from southernliving.com, and it is 10 things that you're storing in your closet that you shouldn't be.

Okay, I know I'm not supposed to put human bodies in there, but honest to God, the backyard's full.

Yeah.

You mean like kidnapped human bodies? Okay. Okay. It happened one time. Yeah. You mean like kidnapped you in bodies?

Okay.

It happened one time, but to be fair, the person we kidnapped was in fact in my closet.

And I'm sure to the point of this list, when I opened my door, I did not want him there.

I wanted to declutter.

They start with muddy shoes.

This one should be a no-brainer, but if your shoes have mud on them, do not put them in your closet until they've been clean. A professional organizer, de-clutter expert, uh, suggest leaving them in the mudroom or entryway. Your closet should be stress-free, not covered in dirt. Hopefully you have a mudroom. Yeah. Or not, just leave them out on your back porch.

As I say, even if you don't, like, yeah, I don't know anybody that would just take muddy shoes and throw them in the closet. No. You know, I don't have a mud room over here. And living in Washington, leaving them on on the back porch, it's not exactly the best option. So honestly, I leave them in the entryway for a couple days, let them get dried out, and then afterwards, I'll go

out onto the patio and then knock them out, knock the dirt and dust off of them, and then I'll put them away. It's amazing how loud it is, smacking two shoes. Oh, I know. That goes through the neighborhood. It reminds me of playing baseball when I was a kid. But it feels good when you do it, man. What? Yeah.
