So I decided to look at 10 things that you probably didn't know about planet Earth.

You guys actually might know some of these things.

Let's say here, 99% of species are unknown here.

Apparently, scientists estimate there are roughly 8.7 million species on Earth, yet 86% of land species, and 91% of ocean species are still not discovered. Now that's said, most of these species on land are insects. Right. You'll hear about frogs and all that kind of thing, but overwhelmingly it's insects. And you go, okay, fair enough. I would say, go to the Amazon rainforest or they'll find you. Oh, no kidding. And the ocean, it's like, well, we can only get so deep, bro.

As you say, it's too far down. Right. And with the insect species, I should tell you how many there are with the fact that they are making basically joke names at this point. Well, it was, there was a spider that was named after Pink Floyd or something like that. Oh, yeah, you're right. They've run out of like clinical names.

So now like if you're the person who discovers this new spider, like you're going to think of your favorite actor or your favorite band or your favorite TV show, and you give it like a Latin spin on the name. They could just use like a bingo tiger, bingle it, or India. Yeah. Just make it simple. It doesn't have to be this long scientific. No.
