I'm looking forward to hashing this out because I think Guardian Angels is a topic that I'm not very

well versed in and you've posed some questions there that are kind of intriguing.

Yeah this is one of the episodes that our listeners have asked us to do so many times.

Now we've done an episode on Angels more in general, but today we're talking specifically about the

Guardian Angels and the Church is teaching on them and how they intercede on your behalf

The Church is a long history of

venerating the angels and particularly the Guardian Angels and it even goes back very strongly to the Old Testament and to the Jewish people and their beliefs in the angels and guardian angels.

So we're going to get into all of that today And this is going to be a really cool episode.

I think a lot of people are going to really enjoy this

because they've been asking for it.

There have been a number of authorities

throughout the years and mystics that have accounted for angels. I'm thinking Padre Pio and many of the other mystics and you know as you kind of reference before like who gets two angels that sounds really interesting and I think you're going to like

the answer to that one I think I will like the answer I think I know the answer too

but you know you have to you have to look at the authorities right and and one of the initial authorities that we have to look at is

is scripture so you know as as Ryan Scheel just mentioned you know there is a scriptural tradition

old testament and new testament as it relates to the angels.

So that's a great beginning.
