The Universal title was a strange old belt. It felt like it was born into the world because

we needed a new name and at the time the word universe was in, at least with Vince McMahon,

that is sort of backwards thinking. It didn't even last that long all things considered,

so given that it is now dead, which is a little bit too much, here's 10 things WWE likely

wants you to forget about. Number 10, it got booed from day one. This was at

Somerslam 2016, with the title itself being announced by Raw General Manager McFoly and Stephanie

McMahon. It was silly anyway, as the reason for its reveal was that the proper WWE title

had gone to smack a down following the draft and therefore Raw needed something too.

It's like having children, it's ridiculous.

What was cool was that Seth Rollins and Finn Baller were going to fight over this and yeah,

that was the shot on the arm we needed when fans finally saw the thing.

Because as soon as this universal title was unveiled, along with it being read, people did

not like it.

For starters, it didn't look good,

but also the audience wasn't stupid. They saw what was happening. Raw is red, and therefore

red, it's like Sesame Street. Where's Big Bird? This belt sucks was the chant too, and Seth was

so annoyed about this, he went off on social media, and that didn't help either, and it just

meant this wasn't the best start.

You know the deal with wrestling. When you arrive with a bad reaction, it's just even harder to

climb back from it. Number nine, the first rain only lasted 24 hours. So I personally want to forget

about this one because it hurt. Finn Baller winning that title at SummerSlam was the right

call because the man deserved it,
