Hey, everybody. Welcome back to another episode of the Catholic talk show. Today we're going to be talking about 10 Catholics things

You should have that's right if you're a Catholic these are things that you should have in your house carry with you and know about and we're going to share them with you today

First and foremost you've got to carry one of these

You know one thing that is for sure, you know, I said you have to have one of these and that is a cross for those of you who are listening in on our podcast

So you can't miss any of our content. I showed a cross and the reason why I said that is because our lives are conformed to the mystery of the cross of Jesus Christ

You know the sign of the cross is made over our heads over our person at baptism and it's something that I always keep by my bedside

And I just absolutely love the cross

Yeah, and I think that's number one on the list and really I would say that more specifically a crucifix

Right a lot of Protestants will have a cross, you know plain wooden cross

And those are those are fine too, but you know as Catholics we specifically have crucifixes for a reason and the differences

Typically, you know all crucifix will have the corpus on it, which is the actual

You know an image of our Lord crucified and if you look at what St. Paul says in the Bible is that we worship we worship

Christ crucified

You know a lot of times Protestants will say well

You know you're recrucifying Jesus by having a monocross and no one's recrucifying Jesus, you know Calvary

Happened in a time and place, but you know there's there's a lot of power with the crucifix

I mean there's not it's not a coincidence that when you see you know horror movies

Things run from the crucifix it's a powerful symbol and it ties us to really our salvation which was gained for us

Through the cross. So if you can't

Buy into having a cross from just the cross you can watch horror movies and those should help you to decide that a cross should be good
