Our topic of the day today discussed a lot of rather smelly situations and it's not new information that dogs have a superior smell to humans.

It's actually well known that while we have around 6 million receptors in our nose, they dwarf that number with a staggering 300 million of their own and a

smell that's 40 times greater than ours. With that many receptors you know

not all of them are going to be good in fact there's some that really just turn

Smells. Dogs absolutely hate.

And maybe it differs from breed to breed,

but I can say with great authority that labs,

one in particular whose name sounds a lot like

Schminry sure as hell likes the taste of whiskey.

I found that one out when I had to walk back inside to grab something, left the tumbler full of delicious brown on a side

table, and when I came back outside he was snout deep in the glass.

Lush.

But at least he has good taste.
