I'm Lee White. And I'm Will Terry. And all three of us are professional illustrators. We've all worked for all the major publishers in the business.

Together we've published somewhere around 75 children's books and We've all worked for all the major publishers in the business. Together,

we've published somewhere around 75 children's books, and we've all taught illustration at university art programs. That is right. Each week we come to you guys with different listener

questions or fantastic interviews with illustrators. Sometimes we agree, sometimes we argue,

but each time you learn something, brand spank and new.

Brand spank and new, and we're not going to bury the lead today.

We're talking about art schools.

We're talking about upper education and art, how to go about it, what pitfalls to avoid, questions to ask yourself, to know that you're ready and whatnot.

And this all comes from us talking to an art student recently, the three of us,

and just kind of answering some of his questions and giving him advice and really

like digging in deep to see where students are at at this time doing art classes

at, not just art schools, but, like, schools that teach art, even if they're not an art school

themselves. But I wanted to, we wanted to just get into it and talk about it on this

episode.
