Welcome to our Wednesday's broadcast of the Gospel Truth.

Today I'm continuing to teach on 10 Reasons, it's better to have the Holy Spirit than it is to have Jesus in His physical body with us.

What a radical statement.

Man, the Holy Spirit has been undervalued, and I've been for this is nearing the end of my fourth week of teaching on this.

So we're going through 10 Reasons, I'm now down to Reason Number 9.

And again, there's no necessarily a God-inspired order to this.

I just went through and listed things in the way that they came to me, and what I want to talk about now is how that the Holy Spirit is a comforter.

Look at this passage of Scripture in 2 Corinthians chapter 1 verse 3 says,

Man, there's a lot of times that it mentions being comforted here, but notice it says in verse 4,

that he comforts us in all our tribulation.

One of the ministries of the Holy Spirit is to be a comforter to us.

There are four times in the night before Jesus was crucified.

He spoke to His disciples, and it's recorded in John chapter 14, 15, and 16.

And there's twice in chapter 14, and then once in chapter 15, and then also in chapter 16, the Holy Spirit is called the Comforter.
