Welcome to our Monday's broadcast of the Gospel Truth.

Today I am continuing a series that I started nearly. Well, it's been over three weeks.

This is the beginning of my fourth week and this will also be my final week to teach on ten reasons.

It's better to have the Holy Spirit.

And this is based on what Jesus said in John chapter 16 verse 7 where he says it's to your advantage.

It's expedient for you that I go away because if I don't go away, I won't send the Holy Spirit.

He was saying that the ministry of the Holy Spirit in us is better than having Jesus with us.

That is a radical statement.

So I've listed ten reasons. I'm now on reason number eight.

And I haven't got time to go back and re-teach all of that but I tell you this has been really powerful.

Most of us have not fully appreciated the ministry of the Holy Spirit

and that's what this teaching is all about.

It's just trying to help us understand how it's actually better to have the Holy Spirit in us than it is to have Jesus with us.

What I want to focus on today, reason number eight in my list, it says in Galatians chapter 5 verse 22,

verse 22, but the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering,

gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance against such, there is no law.

And again, if we could take this in its context and I could amplify on this and teach on every one of these things that are listed as a fruit of the Holy Spirit.
