Welcome into the lounge. I'm Ryan Mink here with Garrett Downing. And we are going to talk

about 10 Ravens who could take a big step for this season. Garrett, we've watched two weeks

at OTAs. We're getting a little better idea of who's starting to stand out and who could be

poised to really make some waves

this season. So Garrett, put together some names here and you ready to jump right into it?

Yeah, let's dive in. All right. First one on the list, we're going to go with outside linebacker

Mike Green. Yeah, I think this is one of the more important players this year

from a development standpoint. And like when we, when we're putting this list together of players

who could take a big step, you and I both felt like let's start there. And Mike was somebody as

a rookie who was asked to do a lot more than I think people realized when the Ravens drafted him.

Like, when the Ravens drafted him, I think that there was probably a hope that he could

really just provide pass rush support. He ended up becoming a three-down linebacker almost immediately

based on injuries and need and the way the team shaked out last year, shook out last year.

And so he had moments as a rookie, but I just think that

this year, new defensive system with some of the pieces that have been added here, namely

Trey Hendrickson, I think there's going to be an opportunity for him to take a big jump. And if he's

able to do that, that could be transformative for this defense.

Yeah, absolutely.

I mean, this is a guy who we all know first round talent, right?

And he has the game to really kind of make a big mark out there.

And I think that certainly it's tough for a rookie, including rookie

pass rushers, to come into the NFL and expect to put up big numbers right away.
