| 0:00.0 | Hey everybody, welcome back to the Blister Podcast on the Blister Podcast Network. I'm Jonathan Ellsworth, |
| 0:08.8 | and you can check out everything we're doing and reviewing over at blisterreview.com. |
| 0:17.1 | Okay, I am currently in a hotel room in the seaport of Boston, and I thought this would be an appropriate time to do another edition of 10 quick things, because I'm in the middle of one heck of a trip, and I thought it would be interesting to some of you to fill you in on what I'm doing and what I'm |
| 0:39.2 | seeing and hearing and who I'm talking with. And so that is our agenda for today. And I am |
| 0:46.0 | recording this here on Monday, November 17th at 11 a.m. Eastern Standard Time. I think it's |
| 0:53.8 | standard time. Whatever happens around daylight savings, I don't know. Eastern time. That's what I know. So let's get started. Number one, this past Wednesday I headed from Crested Butte, Colorado to Los Angeles for the premiere of Chris Ben Chetler's new film called Mountains of the Moon. |
| 1:15.7 | And I got to say, the entire experience was really quite incredible. |
| 1:21.9 | Now, I had seen a rough cut of the film in advance of my conversation with Chris Ben Chetler, which you can hear |
| 1:29.9 | over on our Blister Cinematic podcast. Really enjoyed that conversation with Chris, but that |
| 1:37.4 | rough cut I'd seen had been punched up pretty significantly, actually, for the theatrical premiere, and the film is really, |
| 1:48.2 | really fantastic. It is really mind-numbing, actually, how much work, how many people, |
| 1:57.9 | how much new technology went into the making of this film and um i don't really want to try |
| 2:05.1 | to describe it again if you are curious about it listen to my conversation with chris but it is |
| 2:11.3 | it is a spectacle and the word that i keep coming up with to describe the film, I guess, is it is pretty magical. |
| 2:21.1 | So I look forward to many more of you seeing the film, and I'm somebody who, you know, |
| 2:28.4 | spins a lot of plates and goes pretty hard, I think. |
| 2:32.2 | I can't imagine what the last couple of years have been like for |
| 2:37.3 | Chris putting this whole thing together. In addition to the premiere of the film, where so many |
| 2:45.3 | athletes and industry people came in for this thing, Chris also had put together an art exhibit where he had created |
| 2:54.9 | a bunch of art. We got to see his artwork in person, which was great. That was kind of a first for me. |
| 3:00.7 | So it wasn't enough to bring together this very complex film. |
| 3:11.0 | He also put on a studio show. |
