| 0:00.0 | If you play fantasy football, this video is for you because today we are breaking down the seven players who are must starts have to be in your lineup for week nine fantasy football. We're going to start with maybe one that doesn't feel like a must starter guy who has to be in your lineup. But let me explain. Zonovan Bam Knight, the undrafted, former undrafted running back now on the Arizona Cardinals. This is somebody who's honestly needs to be in your lineup. He's been a real starter for the Cardinals over their last two games. |
| 0:23.8 | Now they're coming out of their bi. on the Arizona Cardinals. This is somebody who's honestly needs to be in your lineup. |
| 0:38.3 | He's been a real starter for the Cardinals over their last two games. Now they're coming out of their biweek and it looks like he should only see more work because of some of the things that have been happening the last couple of days. Because here's the deal. Trey Benson is on IR for at least one more week. He can't return this week. Amari Di Mercado was dealing with an injury before the buy it looks like that he he'll play. But outside of that, Michael Carter got cut from the team signed to the practice squad. So Zonovan Knight and Amari Di Mercado will be the starting running backs this week. It looks like, it looks like Zonovan Knight should be the early downback. Marri DeMercado sprinkling in on passing downs. And so far, the last two weeks, DeMercado is averaging 15 and a half opportunities per game and is a top 20 fantasy rb now he hasn't been flashy but he's getting the red zone usage and he's seeing enough opportunities again over 15 per week the last two weeks to be just enough during the by weeks now the last time we saw zonovan night was in week seven against the packers before the cardinals by week. He led the team playing 48% of the backfield |
| 1:10.9 | snaps, a commanding 58% of the rush attempts. By the way, in this game, he actually left for a little bit. He left for a couple of drives getting evaluated for an injury, so he could have seen even more snaps, even more of the backfield carries. In that game, Michael Cardi with Amara DiMercato, hurt played 36% of the snaps so 29% of the backfield carries he's since then been cut and |
| 1:29.3 | resorted to the practice squad hasn't been called up as of Cardi with Amari Di Mercado played 36% of the snaps, so 29% of the backfield carries. |
| 1:28.0 | He's since then been cut and resorted to the practice squad, hasn't been called up as of right now. So we assume, we assume that Amari Di Mercado would take this role, probably even see less rush attempts. That's the assumption, right? So in theory, Bam Knight should be the primary back in this backfield. There is a way that Amari Di Mercado could get involved, but he's been dealing with injuries. |
| 1:43.9 | He fumbled that ball before the end zone weeks back, which ended up making them lose that game ultimately in the fourth quarter. So if we're just assuming that they don't really trust him all that much right now and he's not as healthy as Bam Knight, this is the perfect matchup for Zonovan Knight out of the buy because he's taking on a Cowboys team. last time we saw Bam Knight 14 carries 57 yards |
| 2:01.4 | that's pretty solid now he's facing a Cowboys team that if we pull it up on NFL Pro |
| 2:05.3 | they allow the fourth most rushing yards per game 146 rushing yards per game is what they're |
| 2:10.4 | allowing right now they're allowing 10 rushing touchdowns which is the second most in the NFL |
| 2:14.3 | they're also allowing the third most fantasy points per game nearly 22 per game to backfields. You can check out this matchups chart here from Hayden Winks over on Twitter. You can see that he says DeAndre Swift, Bam, and Kamani-Vadal, smash weeks because look at this. The higher up you are on this chart. If you're in the right column, even better, but really the higher up you are. Christian McCaffrey, great spot this week. The Andre Swift, great spot. |
| 2:34.7 | Who's next? |
| 2:50.9 | The Cardinals in Zonovan Knight, a great spot this week. Their bad offense versus a very bad defense is what you're going to be getting. The Dallas Cowboys, whether it's tight ends, wide receivers, especially running backs, they leak points to every single position. And that matchup this week, the Cardinals are on the road as underdogs, but a 54. Look at this total. |
| 3:44.5 | A 54.5 point total, meaning a lot of points, a lot of yards, a lot of fantasy points will be in this game. If Bam Knight, Zonovan Knight, can control the backfield, there's a pretty good chance that you're seeing 15 plus opportunities, red zone usage, and the chance to maybe even score a touchdown. So you should be looking to start Bam Knight this week. He's going to be somewhere around my top 24 RBs for the week in the rankings that are currently in the fantasy blueprint. Let's actually stick in Arizona real quickly because I want to talk about Marvin Harrison. We saw Trey McBride have a lot of success with Jacoby Berset the last two games before Kyla Murray got healthy and ultimately likely is trending to return this week. We'll see if that ends up coming out after Friday practices. But Marvin Harrison is another player that you want to be starting this week, no doubt about it. Top 20 wide receiver. You look at his season stats. Just 3.4 catches per game. Just 56 overall receiving yards per game. He hasn't been a great wide receiver by any means. A dude is only averaging nine fantasy points per game. That's not going to get it done where you drafted him in like the fourth round of your draft however we have seen the flashes so far this year you saw in week one to start the season five catches 71 yards and a touchdown |
| 3:48.9 | in a good matchup against the saints on thursday night football in week four six catches 61 yards a |
| 3:53.7 | touchdown after a terrible first half he ended up having a strong game in this one in fantasy for nearly 20 fantasy points. So we've seen these flashes. And now we've seen some nice matchups against weaker secondaries. The Seahawks are banged up on a short week Thursday night, week one against the Saints. Now he gets the weakest secondary he'll probably face all year in the Dallas Cowboys. I mean, this is a Cowboys team that literally a week ago just gave up Troy Franklin's best game of his two-year NFL career, 89 yards, two touchdowns. Even in this game, they still gave up four catches, 67 yards to Cortland Sutton, two catches 40 yards in a touchdown to Pat Bryant, literally three separate wide receivers for the Denver Broncos, who for the most part this year have struggled in the passing attack, three separate wide receivers had fantasy relevant days. And then you look, just like we mentioned with Bam Knight, this game has a 54.5 point total and the Cardinals are two and a half point underdogs, meaning they'll likely have to throw to keep up, it'll be a neutral or negative game script for them with a lot of points on the line. This is a situation where whoever the quarterback is, it should be a good matchup for Marvin Harrison, lots of points here. And overall, Dallas, we showed you how bad they were against running backs. Here's how bad they've been against passing attacks and receivers. They allow the second most passing yards per game, the most passing touchdowns, and currently the most wide receiver fantasy points per game. It is shaping up to be an absolute smash spot for Marvin Harrison. Make sure that he's in your lineup and also make sure as we go back to the running back position, second year players, former six round pick Kamani Vidal for the charges has to be in your lineups because over the last three to four weeks month of the season or so, he's been one of the best values in fantasy football, one of the best waiver ads in fantasy football. On a short week in a somewhat difficult matchup against the Minnesota Vikings last time out, 23 carries, 117 yards, had a touchdown, absolutely balled out. He also added in this game a catch for 10 yards, so he had 24 opportunities, nearly 130 yards in a touchdown. He's going out there and having 20 plus fantasy points now in two out of his last three games, and's looked really good doing it. In that game on Thursday night football with no Hassan Haskins who is still battling a hamstring injury, team high, 74% of the backfield snaps, 64% of the rush attempts, 53% of the routes run. I mean, this is the exact type of workload and upside people were envisioning out of him last year in his rookie year when his competition was old veterans like Gus Edwards and J.K. Dobbins. Kamani Vidal coming out of a smaller school, the expectation I believe maybe it was Troy is that he could be an all-purpose back. We're finally seeing that right now. I mean, all it took was injuries to everybody. Amarian Hampton, Nasi Harris, even Hassan Haskins, but we're there. Now this week, he's going to be taking on the Tennessee Titans, who, by the way, the Tennessee Titans run defense is atrocious right now. |
| 6:14.3 | Overall, their defense is. Harris, even Hassan Haskins, but we're there. Now, this week, he's going to be taking on the Tennessee Titans, who, by the way, |
| 6:12.1 | the Tennessee Titans run defense is atrocious right now. |
| 6:14.3 | Overall, their defense is terrible, but last week, their best player on their entire team, |
| 6:17.8 | and definitely their defense, Jeffrey Simmons was out. |
| 6:19.6 | We'll see if he returns this week, and you saw what Jonathan Taylor did. |
| 6:22.2 | Although Jonathan Taylor is dominating every defense this year, Jonathan Taylor went off |
