| 0:00.0 | If you're setting a fantasy lineup in week 12 of the season, you're probably still competing for a |
| 0:03.8 | playoff spot or a buy, so this is the video for you. We're going to break down the 10 players that you need to be starting in your lineup this week and the guys that I've gotten the most questions about, believe it or not, for week 12. And let's start with Kenneth Walker of the Seahawks, who for the most part this season has been a very frustrating player. I mean, you probably took him in like the fourth, maybe fifth round of your fantasy leagues and you really don't know when to be starting him. But last week, he finally broke out for you in some ways. 16 carries 67 yards and a touchdown. He also added three catches for 44 yards, not really the calling card at least of this year. It definitely was last year, but not this year of Kenneth Walker to catch passes, but he had over 110 total yards a touchdown. |
| 0:38.4 | He looked good, but he was probably on most people's benches based on what he was doing for the past couple of months before that. So 18.6 fantasy points in week 11, just kind of remind you about the ceiling, the playmaking ability that Kenneth Walker has. So now this week I'm getting a lot of questions like, can we start this guy, can we trust this guy moving forward? And my answer to that is probably yes. |
| 0:54.7 | I mean, his own head coach, Mike McDonald, in an interview this past week, said, |
| 0:57.8 | I think he deserves and is earning more opportunities to get the ball as you can see right here if you were to go through and watch this clip this was put out there by hawk mania so on twitter look here's the thing with kenneth walker this is a player who all season long has been in this split backfield He's been getting subbed out on the goal line, even on his own birthday and prime time, |
| 1:13.9 | summed out on the goal line for somebody else to score a touchdown. But finally, the last couple of weeks, the usage has been changing. And the most impressive part is that he put up that big performance last week against the Rams who have arguably the best run defense in the NFL. I mean, depending on the site that you look at, they have the number two run defense |
| 1:26.6 | according to PFF only behind the Browns. And if you look at the usage that they're giving up |
| 1:30.0 | this year, they're only allowing 3.9 yards per carry, which is currently tied for the third best mark in the NFL. So obviously a good run defense. That's what Kenneth Walker was producing last week against. We got to see him play over 50% of the snaps, 48% of the rush attempts. Zach Charbonnet was still involved, 43% of the snaps. But the very interesting thing was that yet again for another week in a row, Kenneth Walker was the one seeing the goal line in red zone usage ahead of Charbonnet, who for the most part this year was commanding that role. We're now at a situation where Kenneth Walker isn't getting subbed out in the red zone. We saw this this past week. He's not |
| 2:00.8 | getting sub down at the goal line either, which is opening up these opportunities for him to score. So in previous weeks, when he was still seeing 15 plus touches, but basically had no red zone upside since they were subbing him out, now that's gone. He has the ability to score a touchdown like he did this last past week in a tough matchup. And moving forward, he's going to have easier matchups including week 12 which is exactly why you want to be starting because i mean |
| 2:20.7 | this is like the best possible last past week in a tough matchup, and moving forward, he's going to have easier matchups, |
| 2:33.7 | including week 12, which is exactly why you want to be starting it. Because, I mean, this is like the best possible matchup for a running back, especially one like Kenneth Walker. He's going to go on the road, sure, but he's facing the Tennessee Titans. And look at this. One of the biggest favorites of the entire season, the Seahawks are 13.5 point road favorites. They're not even at home in this game. |
| 2:35.6 | They're 13.5 point road favorites. |
| 2:51.5 | If they were at home, they'd be like 17 point favorites or so against a Tennessee Titans defense that, look, their run defense currently allowing the seventh most rushing yards per game, 135 rushing yards per game. If you filter by touchdowns, rushing touchdowns right now on NFL pro, we need to refresh this. They allow the second most most rushing touchdowns in the league as you can see right here with 15 so part of this is just because teams get up on them teams are 13 point favorites like the Seahawks this week and they're able to just run the ball especially in the fourth quarter and pick up a lot of rushing yards per game like overall I don't think the Titans run defense on a playing and playout basis is that awful But either way, the Seahawks should play with a lead for most of this game, especially in the second half. I think Walker is pretty much in line for another 15 plus carries, probably at least one touchdown, maybe multiple in this game and he definitely needs to be in your lineup as a top 20, maybe top 10 RB this week. And I also think Alec Pierce coming out of his biweek needs to be in your lineup because before the byweek and week 11 for the Colts, this guy was already becoming in every week starter and fantasy. Over his last four games and the Colts last four games, he's been the number one wide receiver ahead of Michael Pittman on the Colts in Target Share, in receiving yards per game, and in fantasy points per game. Now here's last two outings. two weeks ago or three now because of the buy six catches 115 yards 115 yards led the team in receiving yards and yards per catch. Pass time out there. He has his first touchdown of the year, 21 yards per reception overseas in that game. Four catches, 84 yards. And the most impressive part about this, this was in a game where the run game was taking over, where Daniel Jones was struggling with turnovers. Daniel Jones in that contest overseas only had to throw the ball 26 times because Jonathan Taylor was rushing for 244 yards. And despite that, despite a game that was clearly a run-heavy script for the Colts, you still got Alec Pierce going out there and scoring 84 yards, a touchdown, multiple catches, 20 fantasy points yet again. And here's the pace, according to Sleeper NFL over on Twitter. In his last four games, he's averaging 8.7 targets per game, 91 and a half receiving yards per game right now. Heading into this week, since he's been so good, he's actually currently projected for more in the props markets, more receiving yards than Michael Pittman. Sixty one and a half in this game right now for Alec Pierce, 52 and a half right now for Michael Pittman. That's the type of player and the type of role that you have to view Alec Pierce as. He's no longer a Waver Wire wide receiver like he was earlier in the year. He's no longer a Spike Week player like he was back in 2024 with Anthony Richardson. This is a top 24 wide receiver week in and week out right now. That's how I have him ranked this week, and he's basically a must start unless you're absolutely loaded at the position. And heading into this week, he gets a matchup against the Chiefs. This was a pretty helpful tweet from Derek Brown over on Twitter. He says Kansas City coverage deployment this week presents a wide range of outcomes for Indy. Kansas City has been more single high, which would have meant Alec Pierce and Tyler Warner leading the way. last week, low, that flipped to 58% too high. I think that was mostly because of the matchup. I think you're going to get a lot of single high coverage from a good Kansas City Chiefs defense this week, which is normally going to be beat by past catching running backs. It's going to be beat by tight ends in the middle of the field and outside field stretching wide receivers, which sets up nicely in theory for Alec Pierce. It's also nice because if we pull up draft Kings right here, you could see that this game against the chiefs, the Colts are actually going to be road underdogs, three and a half point underdogs, but the game has a 50 and a half point total, according to Draft King's sports books, one of the highest, I believe, tied for the highest total on the entire week. So you can expect a lot of points this week. The Coulter expected to trail at some point in this game as three and a half point underdogs most likely. So it should be a more pass heavy, heavy script for Daniel Jones compared to the last time we saw him. And Pierce should be in line yet again for six to ten plus targets. So start Alec Pierce and also start Brock Birdie, who finally returned from an injury last week after only really playing in two other games this season due to some injuries, he came back in and he looked like a absolute slam dunk quarterback, a guy that we had ranked as a top 10 quarterback entering the season with a bullet, and that's exactly how he looked in week 11. Because on just 26 pass attempts, he was insanely efficient, 200 passing yards, 7.7 yards per attempt, three touchsons to no interceptions, |
| 6:11.3 | was only sacked once in that game. He didn't even have to open it up with his legs. Just one carry for negative seven yards in that game. We know Brock Purdy, although he's banged up, he has the toe injury. We know he also has the mobility. And even though he wasn't running around in this game because he basically didn't need to, we saw him be mobile. We saw him move out of the pocket, be nimble in the pocket as well, evade pressure. And he looked like just normal Brock Purdy. They said he was going to be a full go and he looked like a full go. Overall, Purdy in this game had an 82.6% adjusted completion percentage and 133.5% passerating. That is fantastic. Now, this was against the Arizona Cardinals. Most teams this year have been dominating the Arizona Cardinals defense, a unit that just put so much in terms of free agency and the draft into their defense. And as of right now, because of injuries and just poor play, it's not really panning out. And that led to the advantage for Brock Purdy, but it's not like it was just this one matchup for Brock Purdy. I mean, we've seen it in past years. This is a guy who completed 69% of his passes two years ago. He completed |
| 7:01.1 | 66% last year on his way to being a top 10 quarterback in both of those seasons. And do you remember the stretch of games that Brock Purdy had last year towards the end of the season? 24 fantasy points, 20, 26, 24 was a top 10 quarterback in all those games, comes back from an injury and finishes with 22, 22, and 32 and 3 out of his last four games last year. |
| 7:20.1 | This was a guy who in the second half of the season had more 25-point games than he did less than 20-point games. He was fantastic. And if you even zoom back to 2023, he was a top six quarterback in fantasy points. He was top five overall in quarterback efficiency and passing yards he's been good anytime he's been |
| 7:34.4 | out there and that's exactly what we saw in week 11 so yeah heading into this week he's a must start as a seven point home favorite with a 49 and a half point total and as a big home favor with a 49 and a half point total this means his team is projected for top five in the overall projected points this week against the panthers team that has been solid this year they've been hit or miss on defense in their secondary and even their run defense. |
| 7:52.7 | But I think this is a nice spot for Brock Party to just continue. this week against a Panthers team that has been solid this year. They've been hit or miss on defense in their secondary and even their run defense, |
| 7:52.7 | but I think this is a nice spot for Brock Purdy to just continue his trend. George Kittle is yet another week healthy and looks awesome. Joanne Jennings is yet another week healthy and looks awesome. Ricky Pearson is back for a second straight week after playing a full complement of routes last week. Right now, my rankings, Brock Purdy is a top eight quarterback this week, and he's a slam dunk. |
| 8:07.6 | I must start unless you have one of the elite guys on your roster. |
| 8:09.9 | Now, before we get into the next player, let me just have it. last week. Right now, my rankings, Brock Purdy is a top eight quarterback this week, and he's a slam dunk. |
| 8:07.6 | I must start unless you have one of the elite guys on your roster. And before we get into the next |
