Thanks for riding along with us today while we do a little roster cleaning here. Because I notice there's a lot of players who aren't getting it done and who really aren't given us any signs of hope, but are still rostered in far too many leagues. So let's quickly run through 10 players who I think you can cut to free up a spot for somebody with more upside. And we'll start with the quarterbacks.

0:39.1

Single QB leagues only we're looking at today.

0:41.5

And in general here, if you don't have one of the top four or five QBs,

0:46.0

you're probably not feeling overly excited about that position.

0:49.3

I mean, there's some hope that Justin Herbert's going to get healthier.

0:52.2

He's been playing through that rib injury that eventually Keenan Allen will return for them.

0:56.8

So maybe they get things going again and Herbert gets back up into that top five or so.

1:01.5

Joe Burrow on the Bengals, they haven't really hit their stride.

1:04.7

He needs T. Higgins to stay healthy there.

1:07.2

Kyler Murray, he's going to get a bump from DeAndre Hopkins coming back in week seven. Tom Brady got off to that slow start, but he's already turning the corner. And even Aaron Rogers, he hasn't had that big, huge game yet, but he's been really, really consistent, definitely hasn't sewered your team. If you're losing, it's not because Aaron Rogers. And maybe Dak, maybe he could get back into that group, you know, once he's 100% recovered from that hand injury. But after that, there's a big group of quarterbacks that are just okay. And there's a couple guys in that group that are still really heavily rostered, even though they aren't giving you any sort of advantage. So my first player to drop is Russell Wilson. And this one should

1:45.2

be obvious. If you've been listening to the show, I had a rant like a month ago about Russ, just talking

1:49.8

about how disappointing his production had been and how I didn't see a player with a high fantasy ceiling

1:54.6

anymore. And it's still early in this Denver experiment. Maybe he gets more comfortable in that

1:59.0

offense. Maybe things get better. But he only

2:01.3

has one multi-touchdown game this year in five tries. He's only top 240 passing yards twice.

2:07.5

Nathaniel Hackett seems underqualified as an NFL head coach. The team's already lost

2:12.2

a star running back in Giovante Williams. They lost their left tackle and Garrett Bowles. Those

2:16.7

guys are gone for the

2:17.6

season. And don't forget, Tim Patrick, too. I know it was a long time ago. It was in the off

2:21.4

season, but they also lost him for the year. So this situation doesn't look as good as it did before
