Okay, you now have everything you need. We've seen the camp reports and the important preseason

usage. It's now clear who the valuable fantasy running backs are, but some of these dudes are being

taken far too late. So let's discuss the top 10 must have running backs for 2023. And we'll begin

with Ty Chandler, the Minnesota Vikings running back, who's their clear cut RB2 at least. And we could

take a look at his usage

in the preseason games. In the first game, he ended up playing 22 of 29 snaps with the starters

in Alexander Madison resting. This is great usage. And it only gets better in the second

preseason game where he sees 36 of 41 snaps. He looks explosive in both of these games,

and he's taking a command of the RB2 load.

And now overall in the preseason, he's been great.

As you can see right here above my head, he's the number two graded rusher out of any running

back who saw at least 20 touches in the first two games.

And he was the seventh graded running back in terms of receiving usage and productivity as

a pass catcher.

Now, Chandler has all the tools to do more than just

be Alexander Madison's backup. Because as you can see from the player profile workout metrics,

he has elite speed, one of the fastest 40-yard dashes of all time in the four threes. And if you

scroll down a little bit, his production in college, especially his last year as a starter at UNC,

he averaged nearly six yards per carry well above average. Look, he has a

real shot to take work from Alexander Madison. Madison was last an explosive run rate last year

and ranks outside the top 50 running backs in yards per touch since 2020. So your takeaway here is that

the number 10 must have running back in Ty Chandler is worth a pick, especially because of where he goes.
