Over the years, I've done a lot of power ranking videos.

I've ranked the most powerful graduates from each Hogwarts house,

the most powerful death eaters, the most powerful Oras,

the most powerful Order of the Phoenix members, and so on and so forth.

But somehow I've never actually ranked the 10 most powerful wizards of all time.

I don't know how I missed it, but today we're going to be finally putting this topic to rest,

taking a look at the 10 most powerful wizards to have made their mark, whether good or bad,

on wizarding history.

Anyway, let's dive in.

Hey everyone, welcome to another installment of Harry Potter Theory.

Before we get started, I just want to make one distinction.

This video will be taking a look at wizards and not witches.

I'll make a separate video for witches in the coming weeks.

To kick things off, we'll start with number one on the list.

Order of Merlin third class, honorary member of the Dark Force Defense League, and five-time

winner of which Weekly's Most Charming Smile Award, Gilderoy Lock, just kidding.

We're going to start in reverse order, beginning with number 10, Severus Snape.

The number 10 spot was probably the hardest one to fill on this list.

Everyone above this point was a shoe-in,

all nine. But when it came to figuring out a tenth, I found myself trying to distinguish the
