Something that I've kind of been molding myself here in the past few years is just getting better at certain basic skills because you know inevitably I found myself just a little bit too dependent on the on the luxuries that we have and the convenience of everything

so we need to get back to basics right because at some point the grid's gonna go down

and when it does we need to be able to do get myself the flow for that yeah all right

10. Important skills you'll need if the power goes out for weeks.

First things first, take the plates off of your vehicle,

cover it, and I mean cover it in mud.

Change your appearance.

You'll need a ski mask and all black clothes.

A truck is preferred.

Stop at a gas station or home improvement store.

Take all the full propane containers.

Acquire a camping stove.

Get your hands on some canned food.

Canned food only.

Next stop, the liquor store.

Don't be greedy.

Just get what you need and add on 20%, just to be safe.

Oh, and you should probably get a couple of bottles of water.

That would also help.
