The idea of the iconic wrestling moment is now knee-deep in sports entertainment, mostly thanks to WrestleMania.

Because of course if you get into this business, you should want to be a world champion,

and yes, you should want to have a WrestleMania moment.

But here's a secret, my friends, you can actually have moments in wrestling all over the place.

It sounded a little bit dodgy.

But let's not worry about that because my name is

Simon Miller and that's right. Sit down and get ready for 10 historic wrestling moments

you've probably never seen. Number 10, Brat Hart wins his first W.W.E. title. So you would

think that a moment as monumental as Brett Hart's first W.W.E. Championship win would be

plastered across every highlight real known to man,

but actually his 1992 went over Rick Flair in Saskatoon is basically buried. And do not forget,

this wasn't just the moment that Brett was able to climb to the top of the WWF tree. It was Vince

at Mann saying, uh-oh, we just went through a bad time, we better start doing something different.

It meant we left behind muscle-bound giants and started to focus on new smaller technical wrestlers,

hence why you had Rick Flair as the champion and Brat Hart being the challenger.

Eventually, Too Hart was able to apply the sharpshooter and get the Nature Boy to tap out.

And hey, at least we were in Canada, and I presume it got a big pop, and the reason we keep throwing question marks in there, is because this match never aired on television. That's right, it was basically a house show, and if you do want to see it, you have to go and buy a Coliseum video exclusive. Worse still, the title of that video was Smack Em and and whack them. Hardly going to draw you in.

It didn't even get a proper highlight package until years later, and yet it is Brett Hart's first ever W.W.E title win. I mean, today it would be like, I don't know, Bronbreaker getting his first championship and somebody just kick him in into the bin. I don't know what that means, but I've said it Now, let's move on.

Number nine, Andy Kaufman versus Jerry Lawler.

So I suppose long before Logan Paul was stepping through the ropes, this was the original collision of pop culture meets pro wrestling. If you do not know how much Andy Kaufman loves sports entertainment, I beg you to go and research that today. This man wasn't just doing it for the lulls. He actually thought the whole industry was

excellent. That's how he and Jerry the King Lawler were able to blur the lines because
