I mean, just think of Chris Jericho in 1999, Kane a couple of years before that, or even Lex Lugar, when WCW Nitro launched. Nobody could believe that. We'd literally just seen him on WWF TV, but as it turned out, nobody behind the scenes in the world. wrestling federation was talking to each other given the way the business has evolved though

it is very different these days so I think it's time to update our brains, so yes, I am the ball-dibiot, Simon Miller. I think this one snuck in because the chat for almost a whole year was focused on what was

happening with Ricky because he had vanished from ATW TV and it sort of felt like he wanted

out of his deal.

Tony Kahn was very coy about it too and that is never a great recipe.

Nobody wants that for dinner.

Fans start reading between the lines and before long the

story is, maybe he got kidnapped by aliens. We joke, but that is how out of control it gets.

I still think Stark, as he once was, had a great run in all-leet wrestling because there is so much to

talk about. Even his team with Big Bill won the tag team titles. And that strap match with

Brian Danielson will live with me forever.

I genuinely think Brian had accidentally read, you should try to kill him on the booking sheet,

and he wasn't going to half-ass it. All of the above, however, did mean when Ricky Saints

appeared on an NXT episode in February 2025, the place exploded. Not literally. None of this

had actually been brought up that much, and we kind of did a Scott Hall here. There was Minima hooplaudge to peer and go. He was just in the crowd

and he even called himself the future of NXT. Which is weird in hindsight. Surely you

want to be the present. Either way, it got the buzz you would want a debut to have because people

spoke about this for a solid seven days.

And in 2025, that's like 42 years.
