podcast i know we got a five-star rating last week from riley merrow who only had one knock in the show. In the comment, there was one knock that it should be longer. And Riley, I appreciate you want to hear me talk even more. Sometimes we do get up to like 40, 50 minutes. I think we've had one or two shows go over an hour, but I consciously try to keep it in that like 30, 40 minute range or shorter because I feel like people have so much going on these days. They get so much pulling at their attention, right? If we can keep it a little tighter, I feel like it's easier to consume, though I will tell you, maybe some good news here that next week, we're going to two episodes per week. We're at that time of year now, two episodes per week during training camp and the preseason, and then during the season, it'll end up being three a week. So there is more podcast coming for you, Riley. But either way, thank you so much for the five-star rating. And I hope others are going to follow your lead there and drop a rating in a review in their podcast app as well. All right. Let's get our guest in here. Like I said, it's Eric Moody. He's been coming on the show for a couple years now. We've seen him rise up through the industry. Now you can find his content over at ESPN. You can find him on Twitter at Eric and Moody. Eric, what's up, man? How you been? Oh, no. Things are going great. I would say it's the equivalent of being like a pit bull and a butcher shop. Things are phenomenal. We've got training camp that's here, preseason games around the corner, and then most importantly, just in the start of the NFL season. So I'm doing great. Can't be any better. That's awesome. We were talking before the show and I said I kind of got my last little trip. I went to a cottage for four days over the weekend.

2:36.1

And after that, I was like, all right, that's probably it now. I have one more small trip for a wedding booked in late August. But from this point on, we're kind of just, you know, trying to keep our head above water here as we keep going. but like I mentioned, we're going to get to your fantasy draft mistakes that people should avoid a little later in the show.

2:52.9

First, I want to go over the latest news. No shortage of stories to talk about right now. The veterans reported the camp. The floodgates open news-wise. Let's start with the Buccaneers here who, they've been in the news a lot lately. Had Rob Grunkowski retire a few weeks ago.

3:26.6

You have Leonard Fournett carrying a little extra weight over the summer. That was a big story that I think people might have blown out of proportion. You have Chris Godwin trying to work his way back from the torn ACL last year. When will he be ready to go? And so Tampa's out there and they feel like they had to make some moves, you know, see what they could do to help Brady out, get a couple veterans in there,

4:01.4

and first they brought in tight end Kyle Rudolph to help replace Grunk. And then yesterday, it was the future Hall of Famer, Julio Jones, that they signed in. It's unclear at this point. I mean, he's 33 years old. How much does he have left in the tank? He kind of fizzled out with the Titans last year. Wasn't really able to stay on the field. Really wasn't the same player that we saw with the Falcons. But Tampa, I don't think they're expecting the old Julio. I think they just need him to come in and be that bridge until Godwin's fully healthy and help out. I know there's been some reports that he could even fill a bit of that gronc roll in the offense as that big bodied guy.

4:03.1

So now you have a receiving core here.

4:04.5

You got Mike Evans.

4:05.9

You have Godwin and he's healthy.

4:07.5

You have Russell Gage, who we like.
