In the past, you've probably heard us refer to watching back some of the classic races we've talked about on the F1 TV app.

And I'm always very careful to point out that we're not being paid to promote F1 TV.

We just flag it up because as fans of F1's history, we get quite a lot out of watching it back.

Well, this episode is coming to you in association with F1 TV, so we decided we would compile a list of 10 races we recommend you should watch back on the

app.

F1 TV now has over 1,600 hours of F1 footage old and new available to watch, and unsurprisingly

here on Bring Back V10s, we're focusing on the archive.

We often get questions from our audience using the hashtag Bring Back V10s, asking for recommendations of old races to go back and watch.

So we're here now to give you 10 of them.

Joining me, Glenn Freeman, to talk through the 10 races we've selected are Ed Straw, Mark Hughes and Matt Beer.

Now, Ed, there's no traditional opening question this time, but I will pick up on something you sent me the other day

when I said we were doing this podcast, because when you found out we had to do this,

you claimed you were going to watch every race in the F1 TV archive to prepare. So did you manage that?

Sadly, I'm not quite there yet, time being. What it is, I will get there in the end, but it's

16,100 hours, I think you mentioned.

It takes a while to get through. And I don't help myself because I watch the races. I then have to

dig through all the various materials related to it, lap times, coverage from the time to satisfy

my desire to understand it. So it's a long old process. And Mark, you're always keen to revisit your

personal archive of written material from the time around any races we discuss on Bring Back V10s, but this time you've had to squeeze that in between back-to-back Grand Prix in the current season.
