They’re not evidence of experience or education. They’re just marketing tools.

That’s just one reason why finding a trained, experienced, and legitimate financial advisor who works in your best interest at all times and won’t sell you and products is tough.

In short, my wife and I bought our first home a few years ago. It was brand new construction, and within a few months,

the house started moving and cracking. We had foundation issues, and essentially, the house was

starting to fall down. Yes, we had it inspected. Yes, we had a realtor. And the construction was actually permitted by the city of San Diego.
